What we collect
When you sign up for the INGREEN Project newsletter, we will require you to provide personal data by completing a form. We will collect your name, surname and e–mail address to identify and communicate with you.
When you visit our website, we may collect the length of your visit, page views, geographical location, browser type and other information relating to your visit (using cookies) to enable us to monitor traffic and make improvements to our website. A cookie is a simple small file that is sent along with pages from this website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. This allows us, among other things, to enable the use of our (web) applications and to analyze the behaviour of users (it is anonymous, the data gathered does not identify you personally). You can refuse the use of these cookies, although this may limit the functionality and ease of use of our (web) applications. In order to prevent abuse, we can ask you to identify yourself adequately. When it comes to access to personal data linked to a cookie, you must send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find this in the settings of your browser. If the data is incorrect, you can request us to change the data or have it removed. See our Cookies policy for more information.
We use social media to inform you about and promote the articles and news published on the INGREEN website. INGREEN Project has accounts on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, ResearchGate and YouTube. We collect statistics of the users and followers of our social media accounts. This information is anonymized.
We recommend that you read the privacy policies of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, ResearchGate and YouTube. These explain each company’s policy of data collection and processing, their use of data, users’ rights and the ways in which users can protect their privacy when using these services.
Personal data from business cards may be processed to enable the possibility of correspondence about project related matters.

How long do we keep your personal information?

We may disclose your information to our project consortium (employees and volunteers), suppliers and/or subcontractors. These include our website providers (Studio Waterloo), Google Analytics and a marketing platform (Mailchimp), as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy. We have signed a data processing agreement with each of our suppliers and subcontractors to ensure your information is processed securely.
